ABOUT ME

Founder of Organization Maria Jones

Maria is the CEO at LIFE Community Center Inc. and LIFE Recovery Inc where she is responsible for housing, facilitating life skills and helping individuals re-enter into society. On a mission to transform lives, she is focused on improving the lives of those affected by the criminal justice system and homeless population and creating a solid foundation towards becoming responsible members of society.

CAREER

Maria Jones has led a career as a substance Abuse Disorder Counselor to a Program Director in her 27 years working in the residential treatment community. Maria plays a major role as a Licensed Minister, she honors women for noteworthy deeds in the community through her non-profit organization titled Women of Strength while working with the youth, ex-offenders and women with children.
Prior to her previous role at Mc Allister Institute, Maria has worked diligently toward achieving her goal of creating pathways to help others succeed in life’s challenges. Driven and determined, Maria is committed to making a difference and helping people change their lives. She has spent the last 30 years creating and building a foundation to achieve the goals of her vision.
As a Program Director turned CEO of Life Community Center Inc. and LIFE Recovery Residences, Maria has developed a unique perspective of a person-centered approach when it comes to treating and helping the ‘whole person’ through evidence-based practices. Influenced by changing lives and reducing recidivism one individual at a time, she aspires to provide a number of support services to assist in life skills, health and wellness, job readiness, and family reunification to help build a stronger community in the next stage of her career. In her spare time, she is an educational facilitator, event planner and fundraiser coordinator,

 DRUG SREEN

Drug screens will be performed by L.I.F.E. Recovery Services All drug screens will be observed and sent to lab for result verification. Testing will also include testing for any drug, including alcohol. In the case L.I.F.E. Recovery Services receives lab confirmation that a client submits a positive UA, for any drug, he/she must restart the IOP Program. A minimum of 5 UA’s will be given through the course of the program; however, your counselor may require additional UA’s at any time for any reason.
